HI, my name is Lori Wright. I am the lead teacher in the nursery. I am the mother of three grown children and a proud grandmother of my grandson Emmett and granddaughter Maria. I have worked at Days since August of 2001. I have an associated degree in early childhood education with and infant and toddler focus from Sinclair Community College. I love spending time with my family
Director
Racheal Penrose
My name is Racheal Penrose, and I am the director at Days of Discovery in Beavercreek. I have been involved with Days for many years and began here as a preschool teacher. I have my bachelor's degree from Urbana University in early childhood education, and child development. I have two children Madelyn and Lillian, who have also grown up in the center. I enjoy baking, playing tennis, camping, and spending time with my family. I look forward to seeing the kids smiling faces every day and listening to all their stories. Thank you for trusting me to care for your children and help them develop their skills in early childhood.
Education Coordinator
Leslie Clark
Hello my name is Mrs.Leslie Clark. I am the Education Coordinator at Days of Discovery Learning Center. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Wright State University in April of 2018. I started working at Days of Discovery in November of 2012. In my time here I have been a floater, assistant toddler teacher, lead toddler teacher, lead school age teacher, and lead pre-k teacher. I love getting to know all of the families and children at the center. A fun fact about me is that I attended Days as a school age student.
Lead Pre-K Teacher
Stefanie Williams
Hi! My name is Stefanie Williams. I have been working at Days of Discovery since 2017. I have always wanted to be a teacher, ever since I was a child and played school with my younger
siblings every day (I was always the teacher, of course!) In my free time I love to go on walks, hike, listen to worship music, play pokemon go, watch football, read, journal, and make art. I
have worked in pre-k since I started here, and am still in pre-k today, which I love! Thank you for letting me be a part of your kids' lives. It has been a joy to watch them grow over the years.
Lead Pre-K Plus Teacher
Chelsea Wright
My name is Chelsea Wright and I am the lead PreK Plus teacher. I have been at Days of Discovery since May 2014 and I have been working in childcare since 2009. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and love what I do! My favorite part about being a teacher is witnessing the children have their little "wins;" when they accomplish something they have continued to work on over time. It warms my heart when they realize they can do anything as long as they take the time to practice and keep trying! Here are a few more things
about me: I love Disney. Halloween and Christmas. I like to make others laugh, I love to craft and paint, I like to listen to all genres of music, and spending time with my family and friends is the best.
Nursery Teacher
Lauren
This is Lauren and she is a teacher in Nursery. She grew up locally and attended college locally, where she earned bachelor's degrees in both psychology and social work. Before working here, she was a caseworker and later a stay-at-home mom to a son. Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, painting, cuddling her cat, running, and nature walks in her spare time. She has always been ready to serve her community, and what way is better than spending time with babies? She loves to help them with new skills, facilitate friendships, engage in play, and watch them grow into little toddlers by the time they leave the Nursery.
Assistant Teacher
Sierra
